The cool weather crops are planted and doing really well. The cucumber and
melons have been seed started. The tomato and pepper transplants are huge.
The asparagus is up and I will be planting my warm weather crops in the
beginning of May. I show off what I picked that evening as it will be used
in an olive oil and pasta dish tonight. I also briefly talk about the riots
in Baltimore as that is the city in which I work.

Nice update! everything looks healthy despite your late winter. Stay safe!
The footage of what happened is crazy. There is a therapeutic nature of
going out back in the garden after work. It makes everything seem calm and
safe.
It sounded like your mouth was watering as you described dinner, made mine
water too! Lol!
Thanks for your comments about the riots. A vast difference to those of
some of the media. I appreciate your perspective.
The protests and roits are funny to me because they are for criminals… If
you protest the death of an innocent man that has lived ont he straight and
narrow his whole life fine.
But the latest “victim” seems to be just another thug… while actually are
just making things worse for communities.
Nice video. Question: I have carrots that are growing from last Summer. I
know that they should set seed, but are the carrots edible the second year?
I am zone 5 and the ground was FROZEN SOLID.
I enjoyed my walk thru your garden. Mine is a few weeks behind yours due
to our zones, (5a for me) but I’m looking forward to fresh veggies daily
coming soon.
Good work with the videos.
thanks for the recipe for the pasta. I have been making a lot of rice
pilaf and using the leftovers for salad. I could do the same thing with
the pasta. great video btw

What did your asparagus bed look like after you were done picking? Oh, and
I was disappointed that you didn’t get a clip of the finished plate. :-)
Pre mature garlic kinda looks like leek.
You have a heck of a nice garden. I wish I could grow all that you do.
Very nicely done, and thanks for sharing.
Heaps of nice greens in your garden Gary….love it!
